A non-profit UK charity that supports the work of a mission hospital in Liuli, Tanzania
The pipes delivering clean, fresh water to the hospital are more than fifty years old and no longer fit for purpose. Unless they are renewed, the hospital will have to close.
Taking out the old system and replacing it with a water system and toilets for the 21st century which is built to last is clearly essential – but costly.
We have already found £8,500 to build a new toilet block and preparatory work is underway – but another four blocks are needed urgently.
The hospital also needs nearly two miles of piping – but just £3 will buy a new one metre length of two inch pipe.
It’s estimated the project will cost around £50,000 to complete altogether, money which Friends of St Anne’s Hospital will struggle to find without your help.
